Liposuction

For some of us, even years of exercise may not yield significant or noticeable results in certain trouble areas like the stomach, thighs, or hips. When these trouble areas aren’t responding to diet and exercise, then liposuction may be a choice for you. During liposuction, fat cells are physically removed from your body with suction– achieving results that can be long lasting if you maintain your current weight and level of exercise.

Liposuction is performed by placing a hollow metal instrument (called a cannula) through a small, hidden incision. The cannula is attached to a machine that creates a negative pressure to remove the fat. Afterwards, you would wear a compression garment for 3 – 4 weeks to minimize swelling and to help your skin tighten around your new, slimmer figure.

Dr. Lou will customize your liposuction procedure after a confidential consultation with you.
