The Dysport Procedure
During your consultation with Dr. Lou, he will discuss your unique facial rejuvenation goals and give his recommendations. Because this nonsurgical procedure is fairly simple and lasts only 15 – 30 minutes, your Dysport treatment in Houston can take place right after your consultation. Our team will use a fine gauge needle that causes very minimal pain at the injection sites. As a result, a local anesthetic or numbing cream is typically not used unless requested by the patient. After cleaning the treatment area, you will receive 5 injections targeting specific areas across the eyebrows. A cold compress is then administered to help with any bruising and swelling.

What is the healing process like?
After your Dysport treatment at our Houston clinic, you will be able to return to your normal activities. However, we do recommend avoiding strenuous activities for at least 24 hours. You may notice mild swelling and redness at the injection site that should last 1 – 3 days. We recommend sleeping upright the night of your Dysport session and applying cold compresses as needed. You will notice that frown lines are less visible and your skin is smoother 1 – 3 days after treatment. These results can last up to four months, but can be extended with follow-up injections at LouMD Med Spa.
Should I get Dysport or BOTOX?
